How to avoid fee at Chase bank?

If you do not deposit at least $500 a month, Chase bank has a service fee of $6 I believe (the amount may be incorrect). I have a College Checking Account. I was wondering if there was another way to avoid this fee since I cannot deposit $500 a month, I only get about $200 a month from child support.
