What is that movie?!?

This movie in the beginning starts with a car crash. AS it goes on it's about this little girl who gets abused and raped by her stepdad. Her family moves around alot and one time they had to eat crackers and ketchup. I rememeber she went to her aunt or grandmas house and said she wanted to be a gospe singer. In the movie the mom catches the dad raping the kid and she pulls him off. the kida nd mom go to the car. the dad runs out and gets on his knees and hits his head on the car and the mom starts crying bc she doesn't want to loose him .This movie has been on lifetime several times. please i need the name!!! thank yu
