Who invented the machine that makes the individual ketchup packets?

I don't know if they invented the machine, but Yale Kaplan of West Hartford, Connecticut and Harold M. Ross of Plainfield, New Jersey invented the ketchup packets. Patent number 2,707,581 was filed on May 3, 1955.
