Did those folk on Bewitched go to Hogwarts?

Samantha is nice but why is so ashamed of her magic? Hogwarts students seem to have healthy self-esteem about their abilities. Wouldn't that mother in law be in trouble with the Ministry of Magic for turning Darren into lampshades and fruit and stuff? Come to think of it, she's kind of evil. Is she Voldemort's grandma?
