Audition songs for the musical Fame?

Hey guys! So I'm a senior in high school, and for our spring musical we're doing Fame. The 1980 version. I want to try for the part of Coco. She's an alto (one who's range of singing is on the lower side. meaning they can't hit really high notes.) So, I was wondering if anyone knows any good songs I can sing for an audition. It should be an alto song, of course, and maybe close to the type of songs Coco sings in the movie. I don't know what to sing. All I can think of is "Don't Cry for me Argentina" and "Bewitched".
